WE HAVE A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY!
We sit at a unique position with football in Wellston, OK. We have a thriving Little League program completely supported independently by players, coaches, parents, and community members. Football was discontinued in recent years due to a lack of interest, but the community responded with a “build it and they will come” mentality.
Now, we have a competitive and exciting Little League that is passionate about the future and the game of football.
We are poised to reintroduce football to our middle school in the fall of 2026.
What is very exciting is this does not just effect the football players, but also brings the ability to reintroduce marching band and cheerleading squads to the fall season. Bringing back the sport of football has rippling effects throughout the school!
To facilitate this transition and support the growth of the Wellston football program, we are launching a $20,000 fundraising campaign. Funds will be used for:
• Facilities management
• Equipment purchases
• Technology upgrades
• Field improvements and more
